The ManCap Foundation offers grants in the names of Alberta entrepreneurs to Alberta high school graduates entering the first year of studies at an accredited Alberta post-secondary institution, in preparation for starting a business. The grants, valued at $3000 each, are awarded to selected students on the basis of acceptance at one of these institutions, two letters of recommendation and answers to the questions in this application.

Academic excellence is NOT a prerequisite. Financial need IS a criteria. Application deadline - July 31st.

The grants will be paid directly to the selected students upon receipt of a copy of acceptance letter (even conditional) from the post-secondary facility.
